David Benowitz
David Benowitz graduated with honors from The University of Pennsylvania, after which he attended the George Washington University School of Law. He was a committed member of GW's Moot Court boards and law review. Graduating near the top of his class, David began his career as a criminal defense lawyer for the illustrious District of Columbia Public Defender Service, one of the most competitive and well established public defender's firms in the United States. David defended countless clients who faced serious, life altering charges. David's diligent and aggressive defense produced successful outcomes before bench and jury trials in complex criminal cases for both juveniles and adults. After gaining experience as a practicing defense attorney, David bolstered his expertise by pursuing an LLM, an advanced Law Degree, in trial advocacy at the Temple University's Beasley School of Law. After several years of practice, David returned to the Temple University's Beasley School of Law. He is ranked "Superb" with a perfect 10/10 score by AVVO's renowned rating system and achieved the highest standard of AV by Martindale Hubbel. David Benowitz holds an active bar in Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

Kush Arora
Kush Arora began his career as a trial attorney for the Assistant Public Defender in Montgomery County. Initially handling misdemeanor traffic offenses, Kush quickly took on many serious felony cases where he successfully represented his clients at bench and jury trials. Kush represents criminal and DUI clients in Maryland Circuit and District courts. He was involved in the D.C Law students in Court program, the Moot Court Society, and served as an Officer on the South Asian Bar Association. A graduate of the Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law in 2005, Kush's tenacity and legal acumen makes him a powerful asset when facing a criminal case.

Jennifer Closser
Jennifer Closser entered into criminal law when she became involved with the Criminal and Appellate Clinic at George Washington University's School of Law after graduating cum laude from Wellesley College in 1992. As a Maryland Assistant State's Attorney, Jennifer prosecuted countless juvenile and adult cases including possession, robbery, arson, DWI, assault, sex offenses, and child abuse matters. The state of Maryland recognized her excellence and honored her with a Governor's Citation, a resolution from the Senate of Maryland, and a House Resolution from the Maryland House of Delegates. Jennifer's extensive prosecutorial experience provides her a unique perspective in developing effective and successful defense strategies for her clients.
